Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary: Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various settings to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position offers full-time hours, competitive compensation, and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for eligible new hires.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiologic examinations on patients, operating radiographic equipment and producing high-quality images
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others by practicing appropriate radiation protection techniques
• Accurately input procedural information into electronic medical records and other systems
• Obtain relevant patient information and explain procedures to patients
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment according to established standards
• Participate in quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with PACS and digital technology
• Knowledge of cross-section anatomy is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
