Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Details:

• Job Schedule: Full-Time
• Standard Hours: 40
• Job Shift: Day Shift (Shift 1) with rotating weekends
• Shift Details: OR X-ray tech day shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various settings
• Position patients and operate diagnostic x-ray equipment
• Provide patient care during imaging exams
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures when needed
• Operate C-arm and O-arm in the operating room
• Maintain radiation safety standards
• Accurately input procedural information into electronic medical records
• Obtain relevant patient information
• Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Participate in department quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students when necessary

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with PACS and digital technology
• Knowledge of cross-section anatomy preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
