Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various settings by positioning patients and operating diagnostic x-ray equipment. Your work will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiologic examinations on identified patients
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment
• Produce high-quality images for diagnosis
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others
• Input procedural information into electronic medical records
• Obtain relevant patient information
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students when necessary
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
• State of Connecticut Radiographer license
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with PACS and digital technology
• Knowledge of cross-section anatomy preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
