  • Schedule: Wednesday 7:30a-4:00p, Saturday & Sunday 3:00p-11:30p

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various settings.
  • Position patients and operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Minimize radiation exposure by practicing appropriate techniques.
  • Accurately input procedural information into electronic medical records.
  • Obtain patient information and ensure concordance with exam request.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with PACS and digital technology.
  • Knowledge of cross-section anatomy preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
