Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Encompass Health, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and achieve their goals. In this engaging opportunity, you'll be located in Northwest Tucson, providing physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations. You'll also delegate tasks, supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians, and maintain open communication with hospital departments. Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care, adhering to hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Create an environment and culture that enables the hospital to provide patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification prior to employment.
• CPR certification preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program, with sufficient experience in the field.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
