Hartford HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Clinician to join our team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut. As a Masters Level Psychiatric Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing outpatient behavioral health therapy services to adolescents with dual diagnoses. Job Details:
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and utilize advanced clinical knowledge to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a mandatory reporter, you will also play a critical role in making child abuse, elder abuse, and disability reports. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose patients using the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Conduct suicide risk assessments, violence risk assessments, and mental status examinations
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to provide coordinated and comprehensive care
- Complete all clinical documentation following regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut as an LMSW, LPCA, or LMFTA
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
