Details:

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, located in Torrington, Connecticut, is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital serving the residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. As a Masters Level Psychiatric Clinician, you will be responsible for assessments, treatment planning, and delivering outpatient therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive admission assessments and collect necessary patient information
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Perform suicide, homicide, and mental status assessments
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Coordinate care with hospital providers, physicians, and state agencies
• Complete all necessary educational requirements

Requirements:

• CT Licensed MSW or Master's degree with current Connecticut certification as an Alcohol/Drug Counselor (CADC)
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated competencies to meet age-specific patient needs
• Bilingual preferred
