Job Details
- Job Schedule: Full Time
- Standard Hours: 40
- Job Shift: Shift 1
- Shift Details: Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient caseload, providing ongoing psychiatric services including individual, group, and family therapy
- Evaluate and formulate treatment plans for new clients
- Coordinate treatment interventions to achieve treatment goals
- Participate in team meetings and supervision
- Provide support and coverage for other team members
- Complete required documentation in a timely fashion
- Comply with regulatory agency requirements
- Provide liaison for patients with community service agencies
- May supervise student interns
- Track insurance authorizations and utilization management reviews
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut Licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or similar licensure (i.e. LMFT, LPC, etc)
- Additional Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) is a plus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- One year of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skills highly preferred
- Excellent time-management and documentation skills
