  • Shift Details: Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays

Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric Clinician, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a patient caseload requiring ongoing psychiatric services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Provide evaluation and formulate treatment plans for new clients.
  • Coordinate treatment interventions to achieve treatment goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and supervision.
  • Provide support and coverage for other team members as needed.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with requirements from regulatory agencies.
  • Provide a liaison for patients with components of the community source system.
  • Supervise student interns.
  • Track insurance authorizations and utilization management reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or similar licensure (i.e. LMFT, LPC, etc).
  • Additional Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • One year of experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred.
  • Excellent time-management and documentation skills.
