About the Role

As a Psychiatric Clinician (LMSW, LPCA, LMFTA), you will play a vital role in the assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of outpatient behavioral health therapy services to adolescents with dual diagnosis. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team under the clinical direction of the Department of Psychiatry Medical Director to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and perform recurring assessments
  • Facilitate referrals to higher levels of care
  • Provide individual, group, family therapy, and crisis intervention services
  • Engage individuals and families in the development of person-centered treatment plans
  • Document all clinical activities in compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling
  • Current State of Connecticut licensure as an LMSW, LPCA, or LMFTA
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
