Role Overview
As a Vascular Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will work in an outpatient ambulatory setting, collaborating closely with an attending surgeon while also running independent sessions. Your focus will be managing patients with venous disease, edema, and lymphedema. You will have the autonomy to make important clinical decisions and escalate care when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include managing a patient panel for venous disease, including pre-procedure and post-procedure care, follow-up appointments, and new consults. You will also assist with imaging follow-up, triaging new patients, wound checks, and general vascular patient care. You will have the opportunity to work at multiple locations, including Winsted, Plainville, and Farmington.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must:
- Hold a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Possess at least 2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Be licensed as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- Be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Have experience in vascular, arterial, cardiac, or ambulatory care (highly preferred)
