Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care Services team. In this role, you will provide holistic, high-quality care to critically ill patients admitted to the critical care unit at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

As part of a strong and collaborative team of Critical Care Intensivists, you will use your comprehensive knowledge of acute critical care conditions, diagnostics, and treatments to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic diseases. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, speaking to patients and families about their conditions, and collaborating with a variety of consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the critical care unit

Requirements:

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• New grads are welcome to apply

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as an advanced practice provider in a critical care setting
• Neurocritical care experience highly preferred
