About the Hartford Healthcare Heart & Vascular Institute:
The Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute is a rapidly expanding institute that brings together cardiac care specialists and cutting-edge technology. As a part of this integrated team, you will collaborate with experts in noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure medicine.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans
- Identify emergent diagnostic information and communicate it to physician colleagues
- Prescribe, dispense, and administer therapeutic and corrective measures
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut
- Experience in cardiology preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
