Summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our Cardiology team in Bridgeport, CT. As part of our esteemed medical group, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting, working collaboratively with noninvasive, interventional, structural heart, electrophysiology, and heart failure physicians.
  • Identify and communicate emergent diagnostic information to physician colleagues.
  • Prescribe, dispense, and administer therapeutic and corrective measures in accordance with the Physician Assistant's scope of practice and collaborative relationships.
  • Exhibit a passion for cardiology and adaptability in a rapidly growing institute.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program.
  • Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience in cardiology preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
