Summary:

Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Multiple Sclerosis Center in Southington, CT. As a valued member of our neuroimmunology team, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunology diseases. • Standard Hours: 40
• Job Shift: Shift 1 (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality outpatient care to patients with nervous system and immunology diseases, primarily Multiple Sclerosis patients
• Assist in the medical management of patients, achieving or maintaining optimal health status, managing disease, and reducing the risk of illness
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of experienced professionals, including MA’s, Administrative Assistants, Nurses, and Social Workers
• Participate in program development and potential future research opportunities
• Attend monthly programmatic team meetings

Requirements:

• Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP)
• Minimum 1 year of experience practicing as an APP or 2 years of RN experience within MS or neurology for New Grad Nurse Practitioners
• Previous experience in MS or neurology is highly preferred
