As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a physical therapist to provide therapeutic interventions to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing age-appropriate therapeutic interventions in campus locations, home health, and/or outpatient care
- Evaluating patient response to treatment and providing feedback to the team
- Documenting the course of patient care and progress made
- Collaborating with the physical therapist to develop new methods of delivering education to patients and families
- Assisting with in-service/cross-training on physical therapy knowledge and skills
To qualify for this role, you must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license and maintain current CPR certification. Previous experience in the healthcare or senior living industry is preferred.
In addition, you must have excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. This position requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking intermittently during working hours.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an APTA approved associate degree program or equivalent training
- Active or pending Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- CPR certification for healthcare providers
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and assist residents with equipment transfers
- Must be able to see, hear, and communicate effectively
