As a Physical Therapy Assistant at The Willows of Springhurst, located in Louisville, KY, you will work under the direction of a physical therapist to provide therapeutic interventions to our residents. Your responsibilities include evaluating patient response to treatment, documenting patient care, participating in program development, and delivering cost-effective care. You will collaborate with the physical therapist and contribute to the education of team members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an APTA approved associate degree program or equivalent training
• Active or pending Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) state license
• Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population
• Current CPR Certification for healthcare providers
• Two (2) years' experience in a healthcare or long-term care environment preferred
• Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, and walk during working hours
• Lifting capacity of at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to assist and stabilize residents during transfers
• Visual and auditory capabilities to ensure job requirements are met
