Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will independently evaluate and determine treatment strategies for patients with acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Administering physical and chemical agents, exercises, and therapeutic procedures
• Maximizing patients' functional independence
• Assessing and improving strength, motor control, joint mobility, balance, coordination, and other areas of physical function

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, with a BS degree or entry-level master's degree
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Connecticut
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
