As a Physical Therapist at Mount Carmel Rehabilitation Hospital, you'll play a vital role in helping patients recover from stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. In this role, you will:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence
• Create an environment and culture that prioritizes patient safety and patient-centered treatment

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred (unless otherwise required by hospital policy)
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum of two years of experience in the field
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
