Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to cover the greater Southington and/or Meriden region. Additional opportunities may be available in Farmington/Plainville, North Haven, and/or Norwich/Mansfield. The hours are flexible, and we offer full-time, part-time, or per diem options. You will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatment for homebound patients. The role involves assessing patients, developing treatment strategies, and delivering or delegating services to maximize functional independence.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment for homebound patients
- Assess strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and functional abilities
- Utilize therapeutic applications, exercise, physical and chemical agents, and other procedures
- Promote the patient's functional independence and improve quality of life
Qualifications
- PT experience required
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school
- Active CT PT license
- CPR certification required
