Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment for homebound patients. You will work with patients referred for physical therapy and provide services aimed at preventing, remediating, and rehabilitating physical dysfunction or pain. This includes evaluating patients, developing treatment strategies, delivering services, and monitoring the patient's progress. You will use a variety of techniques and interventions to maximize the patient's functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy and establish treatment plans
  • Independently deliver or delegate services to address physical dysfunction or pain
  • Apply physical and chemical agents, exercise, and other procedures to promote functional independence
  • Assess strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and daily living activities

Qualifications

  • PT experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Valid CT PT license
  • CPR certification required
