Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our home care division. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and a wonderful work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work with patients in the Fairfield region, with additional opportunities available in various locations throughout Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for homebound patients referred for physical therapy
- Independently evaluate and provide treatment to maximize patients' functional independence
- Use therapeutic techniques, physical agents, exercise, and other procedures to remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction
- Assess strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and functional abilities
Qualifications
- PT experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Active CT PT license
- CPR certification required
