Position Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) will deliver medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to patients. You will independently evaluate the patient's level of function, determine treatment strategies, and provide Physical Therapy services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform thorough examination and evaluation of patient's level of function
• Establish measurable goals with patients and their families
• Implement appropriate interventions and clinical decision making
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Participate in patient transition planning and coordinate care with other care providers
• Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Graduate of Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, with a BS degree or entry-level master's degree
• Active CT license

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience, or new grads welcome with mentorship/training available
• Experience or interest in sports medicine and functional movement assessments
• Sports Medicine specialty or interest, with an opportunity to be a part of the North West Sports Medicine team
• Advanced certifications such as FMS, CDN, AAOMPT
• ABPTS OCS, SCS
• Dual credentialed as an ATC and/or Emergency Response for the Athlete or equivalent
