Summary:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Outpatient Rehab team in Torrington. This is a full-time position with a focus on Ortho/Sports Medicine. New grads are welcome to apply! Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' level of physical function
• Develop treatment plans and strategies based on evaluation results
• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients
• Monitor and assess patients' progress during therapy
• Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment plans and precautions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Active license in the state of Connecticut
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopedic and sports medicine
• Previous experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Advanced certifications, such as FMS, CDN, AAOMPT, ABPTS OCS, SCS, are a plus
• Dual credentials as an ATC and/or Emergency Response for the Athlete are desirable
