Role and Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Hartford HealthCare, you will play a vital role in evaluating and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function
• Developing measurable goals and treatment strategies based on patient needs
• Implementing and delivering patient care using appropriate interventions
• Providing patient and caregiver education regarding treatment and precautions
• Participating in patient transition and discharge planning
• Delegating patient care tasks and supervising other staff members

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• CT PT license and BLS certification
• Open to recent graduates; one year of experience in an outpatient setting preferred
