Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function, including strength, movement, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, and cardiopulmonary function
• Develop measurable goals with patients based on appropriate care protocols
• Implement and deliver personalized patient care using a variety of interventions and therapeutic exercises
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, precautions, and equipment use
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and community resources
• Provide clinical supervision for Physical Therapist students, Rehabilitation Aides, and Physical Therapist Assistants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy license
• Open to new graduates
• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred
