In this role, you will provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines. You will have the opportunity to delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians, while maintaining open and ongoing communication with hospital departments. As a Physical Therapist (PT), your responsibilities will include:

• Providing physical therapy treatment and patient care, following hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines.
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Maintaining open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.
• Helping patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Creating an environment and culture that promotes patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• Current state licensure or certification on or before the first day of employment.
• CPR certification preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program, with sufficient experience in the field.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
