In this position, you will:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines.
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the hospital are met.
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Create an environment focused on patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Current state licensure or certification (required before the first day of employment).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• A degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program and sufficient experience in the field.
• Competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
