Hartford HealthCare is Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network, and we are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) for our acute care team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients, evaluate their level of function, and develop treatment strategies to improve their physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function
• Develop measurable goals based on appropriate patient care protocols
• Implement, deliver, and delegate patient care using appropriate interventions and clinical decision-making
• Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment, precautions, and equipment use
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers and community resources

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required
• Open to new graduates
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
