Located in Torrington, Connecticut, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital serving as a regional healthcare resource for the residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function
• Develop measurable treatment goals based on patient care protocols
• Implement appropriate interventions and modalities to maximize patient's functional independence
• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment and equipment use
• Participate in patient transition planning and care coordination
• Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Open to new graduates
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy license or active temporary license
