Position Description As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, you will be responsible for administering medically prescribed Physical Therapy treatments to patients. In this role, you will evaluate patients' level of function, develop treatment strategies, and deliver comprehensive care to rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function
• Establish measurable goals based on patient needs
• Implement and deliver appropriate interventions and treatment modalities
• Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment, precautions, and equipment use
• Participate in patient discharge planning and coordination of care with other providers
• Delegate, supervise, and mentor Physical Therapist students and assistants

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• State of CT Physical Therapy license or active temporary license
