Job Description:

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients. You will evaluate patients' level of function, develop treatment strategies, and deliver or delegate physical therapy services to address acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. This role requires strong evaluation skills, therapeutic application techniques, and the ability to prescribe exercises and other procedures to maximize functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' level of function
• Establish measurable goals based on patient needs
• Implement appropriate interventions and clinical decision-making
• Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment and precautions
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
• Delegate tasks and provide clinical supervision for therapy assistants and students

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• State of CT Physical Therapy license
