Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT. In this role, you will administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments, evaluate patients' level of function, and develop treatment strategies to address acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide individualized care, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to patient transition planning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive examinations and evaluations to assess patients' level of function
• Establish measurable goals based on patient needs
• Implement and deliver physical therapy interventions and modalities
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Participate in patient transition planning and coordination of care
• Delegate tasks and provide clinical supervision

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome
