As a Physical Therapist in Acute Care, you will administer medically prescribed treatments, evaluate patients' level of function, and develop effective treatment strategies. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients, help maximize their functional independence, and improve their quality of life. Your role will also involve patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and coordination with other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed examination and evaluation of patients' level of function
• Establish measurable goals based on patient needs
• Implement and deliver patient care using appropriate interventions and clinical decision-making
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Participate in discharge planning and care transition coordination
• Delegate patient care tasks and provide clinical supervision

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Open to new graduates
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy license or active temporary license at time of hire
