Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist (Pool), you will play a key role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing physical therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Supervising physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintaining open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met
• Assisting patients in regaining control of their lives and independence
• Creating an environment that prioritizes patient safety and patient-centered treatment

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or certification before the first day of employment
• CPR certification (preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy)
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
