As a Physical Therapist with Encompass Health, you will:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence
• Create a patient-centered environment and culture that fulfills the hospital's mission of providing excellent care

Credentials:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current state licensure or certification before the first day of employment
• CPR certification preferred (unless otherwise required by hospital policy)
• Degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program, with sufficient experience in the field
• Competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
