As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintaining open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met
• Helping patients regain control of their lives and independence
• Creating an environment and culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission by providing patient safety and patient-centered treatment

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
