Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient needs are met
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence
• Create a patient-centered environment that focuses on safety and quality care

Requirements:

• Valid state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
