Your Role as a Physical Therapist (PT)

As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Health, you will play a crucial role in patients' recovery journeys. Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care in compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open communication with other hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence
• Create a patient-centered environment and culture that aligns with Encompass Health's mission

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification before employment
• CPR certification (preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy)
• Degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program in Physical Therapy
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
