Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Create an environment that promotes patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification prior to employment start date.
• CPR certification preferred, unless specified by hospital policy.
• Completion of an accredited bachelor's or master's program in physical therapy.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively working with patients, families, and caregivers.
