Job Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Health, you will:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines.
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.

• Create a patient-centered environment and culture that promotes safety and optimal treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification preferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
• A degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
