Shift Details:

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Physical Therapist position. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for administering physical therapy treatments to patients under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will assist in evaluating patients' level of function, implementing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their caregivers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in assessing patients' physical function, range of motion, and mobility status
• Perform therapeutic techniques as delegated by the Physical Therapist
• Communicate patient progress to the Physical Therapist
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Complete all necessary documentation
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current State of CT Physical Therapy Assistant license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in acute care or outpatient setting preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
