As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Health, you will:

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the hospital are met.
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Create an environment that prioritizes patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Physical Therapist, you must have:

• Current state licensure or certification on or before the first day of employment.
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
