As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services and support to patients with acute or prolonged physical dysfunction. Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing assessments and implementing treatment plans to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate physical dysfunction or pain
• Utilize treatment skills and tools to assess patient needs and maximize functional independence
• Provide physical therapy interventions as per the plan of care
• Document treatment interventions and communicate relevant information to ensure effective delivery of quality service
• Coordinate activities of rehab aides, students, and support personnel
• Adhere to safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school
• Connecticut state licensure
