Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and professional guidelines.
• Supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met.
• Help patients regain control of their lives and independence.
• Create a safe and patient-centered environment to fulfill the hospital's mission.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor's or master's program.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
