Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a patient caseload on a daily basis
- Performing treatment modalities as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Implementing the plan of care to provide safe and efficient quality care
- Coordinating patient care with other Agency personnel and community resources
- Keeping the Occupational Therapist informed of patient status and changes
- Documenting clinical and reimbursement information
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Connecticut license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Three (3) years of experience preferred
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
