Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Panama City, FL, and we have exciting PRN (as needed) Occupational Therapist positions available. In this role, you will work closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, utilizing the latest therapies and techniques to provide top-quality care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Effectively delegating tasks and supervising occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Providing occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Maintaining open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure patient, staff, and hospital needs are met

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you should have the following credentials:

• Current state licensure or certification (Florida) on or before the first day of employment
• CPR certification preferred (unless otherwise required by hospital policy)
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
• Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
