Details: As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a crucial role in the recovery and progress made by our patients. You will have the opportunity to form significant relationships with patients as you assist them on their road to recovery from various conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. By delivering exceptional patient care and providing the support they need, you will have a direct impact on their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively delegate tasks and supervise occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the hospital are met

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited therapy program or equivalent
• Effective communication skills
• Competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
