As an Occupational Therapist at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, you will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being and independence of our patients. Working alongside a dedicated healthcare team, you will provide individualized treatment plans and comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. By building meaningful relationships and celebrating the successes of our patients, you will help them regain their independence and achieve their therapy goals.

Responsibilities

• Effectively delegate tasks and oversee the work of occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain open communication and collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure the overall well-being of patients

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Completion of an accredited therapy program
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
• Competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
