Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is a unique healthcare facility that allows you to walk alongside patients on their road to recovery from a variety of conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, joint replacements, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions. In this role, you will provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital and professional guidelines. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals and effectively delegate tasks to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care
• Effectively delegate tasks to occupational therapist assistants and technicians
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to meet patient and hospital needs

Requirements:

• Current state licensure or certification
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree from an accredited therapy program
• Effective communication skills
• Competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment
